The space was shaping them all along. Now they can see it. The question is whether seeing it changes anything.

When her protege Alex runs a Bright diagnostic on her flagship project, it scores 28 out of 100 on human livability. The building is a masterpiece. The spaces inside it are failing the people who use them. Alex quits. Carmen has to decide what matters more - the award or the truth.

When she traces contamination upstream with Bright's spatial analysis, she finds the evidence - but it also exposes her own father's farming practices. The tool she needed to fight them is the same tool that implicates her family. Bright enters not as detective, but as builder - redesigning the development project from the architectural catalog.
